journal is lying, besides this aKolder containing
histories of cases, documents and various papers. near
theAlfrance door cot pegs. In the corner, on the
right, an iron stove. near the door a wide etagere
on the top sheriff a test tubest stand; by the side of it
someedicine bottles. On the lower shelves books and
magazines. Each side of the middle door a closed
cupboard. A white smock, a coat and hat are hanging
on the pags. Over the etagere hangs a rather failed
photograph of the medical staff. A few chairs,
according to requirements.
SISTER LUDMILLA (about 28, not too pretty, pale
with large, sometimesbringing, eyes) busy at the
etagere when the curtain Leises.
BOCHROITZPoINTNER comes in from the ward. (Younz
man, aned 25. medium height, steut, small moustache.
student’s gear, pince nez, pale, very sleek hair.
