discussion of Schnitzler in his book Modern Dramatiste. In 1914
there were discussion of Schnitzler in B.H. Clark's The Conti-
nental Drame of To-day, in K.Nenderson's The Chenging Drama, and
and in H.B.Samuel's Modernities. 1915 brought discussion by
J.Huneker in lvory Apes and Pencocks and by L.Lawisohn in The
Modern Drama. There were further chapters by two men, mentioned
above, E.Henderson and L.Lawisohn who, in 1910, wrote respective-

glance at these titles will show in a moment that Schnitzler
represented to them one of the modern dramatists. It this time I
am not even mentioning the discussion which appeared in periodi-
cals and in the introductions to certain oditions of the playe,
