would be willing to stand as succession to Tugendvetter.

make the auggestion, especially as I know that Tugend-
vetter himself looks on Hill’s candidature with favour.

(Ratherptharply) Professor Tugendvetter is to take up
his new position at the State Hospital only at the
beginning fo the Summer Term. Our discussion of this
affair and - if I may be permitted theärke - your
correspondence with Dr. Hill- all seem somewhat premature.
And there is all the less reason to be Grecipitate as
Tugendvetter's contestant, Dr. Wenger, has several times
shewn his ability to fill the position, at any rate rry
temporarily, in a most competent manner.
